The club is based in Nikopol, Ukraine and sponsored by the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF). ==Brief history== The club was founded in 1950. It began its legacy in the Soviet football competitions and was one of the primer feeders of football talents for the Soviet elite teams. In 1962-1969 the teams carried the name of ''Trubnik'', in 1970-1991 was called ''Kolos''. In 1992 with the independence of Ukraine, it joined the Ukrainian football competitions with the name of ''Metalurh''. In 2001 with the new sponsor, the club changed its name to ''Electrometalurh''. In 2002 the club changed its name to ''Electrometalurh-NZF'' and got relegated to the Ukrainian Second League.
